The Patrol Division is responsible for the continuous general law patrol of the city. The bulk of the station personnel are assigned to this division and they are deployed according to current crime hazards and trends.

• Investigations and reports on all reported crimes.

• Identification and apprehension of law violators.

• Recovery of stolen property and its return to the rightful owner.

• Proactive patrol of the City seeking out potential violators and investigating suspicious activity.

• Supplemental traffic enforcement and accident investigation.

• Response to non-criminal calls for service that adversely affects the public safety.
